GB E-Series Hydraulic Breaker

GBN450EL Hydraulic Breaker

The GBN450EL hydraulic breaker is a high-capacity E-Series hydraulic breaker engineered for heavy demolition, hard rock breaking, primary quarrying, and massive excavation projects. Featuring a massive 3,360 kg silenced operating weight and a large 165 mm tool diameter, the GBN450EL is built for heavy excavators in the 37–55 ton range.

GBN450EL Hydraulic Breaker

Exceptional Impact Energy & Performance for 37–55 Ton Excavators

The GBN450EL is engineered for heavy production environments that demand massive force output. As part of the GB E-Series, it delivers an impressive 9,823 Joules (7,245 ft/lb) of impact energy to handle dense rock formations and heavily reinforced concrete.

With a high-mass 3,360 kg (7,408 lb) silenced operating weight, the GBN450EL provides the structural ballast required for continuous heavy breaking on carrier excavators ranging from 37 to 55 tons.

The breaker features a heavy 165 mm moil-type tool (weighing 226 kg), designed to deliver maximum energy transfer and long-term resistance against wear during abrasive quarrying and demolition applications.

The GBN450EL operates at an impact frequency of 120–340 blows per minute, balancing maximum energy per blow with efficient cycle times for demanding material breakdown.

Requiring a hydraulic oil flow of 190–280 L/min and operating at a pressure of 160–180 bar, the carrier machine's hydraulic output should be verified prior to installation.

Featuring a gas-assisted system with a back head nitrogen pressure of 16 bar (232 psi) and accumulator charge of 60 bar, the GBN450EL maximizes power delivery while damping pressure spikes back to the excavator's hydraulic circuit.

GBN450EL Applications

Heavy Industrial Demolition

Specifically suited for heavy structural demolition, thick reinforced concrete pads, industrial plant removal, and bridge foundations.

Quarrying & Rock Fracturing

Delivering 9,823 Joules of impact energy, the GBN450EL excels in primary breaking, quarrying face operations, and breaking massive boulders.

Major Infrastructure & Excavation

Provides high penetration capacity for deep utility trenching through solid rock, heavy civil earthworks, and foundation preparation.

37–55 Ton Excavators

Designed for heavy production excavators in the 37–55 ton range (45-ton recommended class), contingent on hydraulic compatibility.
