Back on site, back on track & fitting serious attachments | Week to Week Ep. 100

Welcome to Episode 100 of Week to Week – and our first video of 2026

Hitting 100 episodes feels like a proper milestone for us. What started as a simple behind-the-scenes series has grown into a library of real-world footage showing how attachments are sold, fitted, repaired, tested and supported day in, day out.

This episode also marks a bit of a reset. As we move into 2026, our focus is firmly on showing more of the attachments themselves – how they’re set up, how they perform on site, and what goes on behind the scenes to make sure customers get the right solution.

It’s the first week back after the break, it’s bitterly cold, but there’s plenty going on.

ORSI Semi Forest Mulcher Install – JCB 3CX

The week kicks off in the workshop with the installation of an ORSI Semi Forest IND FTL fixed tooth mulcher onto a customer’s JCB 3CX.

As is often the case with machine and attachment pairings, it wasn’t completely straightforward. Some bracket issues cropped up during the install, requiring a bit of problem-solving before everything could be fitted correctly and safely.

This kind of work is a good reminder that fitting attachments isn’t just about bolting things on – it’s about understanding machine geometry, mounting standards, hydraulics, and making sure the final setup will perform properly in real conditions.

Slanetrac HS75 Saw Working on Site

Laura and Gary head out to see a Slanetrac HS75 hydraulic saw working on site. Seeing attachments in real use is always valuable – not just for content, but for feedback.

Watching these saws in operation helps reinforce where they work best, how customers are using them, and what questions tend to come up around performance, control and application. It also feeds directly back into how we advise future customers considering hydraulic saw attachments.

Workshop Focus: Kinshofer NOX Tiltrotator Repair

Back in the workshop, a Kinshofer NOX tiltrotator comes in for repair — and this one has a bit of history.

It’s a 10-year-old, earlier design, and rather than a quick fix, it gets a full strip-down. Stuart and William tear it back to its core, replacing the worm drive and seals to bring the unit back to life.

This kind of job perfectly sums up what we want to show more of this year:

not just shiny new attachments, but the support, repair and technical knowledge that keeps equipment working long after the initial sale.

Behind the Scenes: Content & Marketing Reset

Away from machines and attachments, there are a couple of important behind-the-scenes moments this week too.

The content team finally gets faster internet – a small win, but one that should make day-to-day content work far easier (and faster) going forward.

The marketing team also meets off-site to plan content direction for the year ahead. With a clearer structure, more consistency, and a stronger focus on real-world attachment insight, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for both video and written content.

A Fresh Start for 2026

Episode 100 feels like a natural line in the sand.

  • More consistency.
  • More behind-the-scenes.
  • More real-world insight into the attachments we sell, fit and support every day.

If there’s anything you’d like to see this year – whether it’s a specific attachment working, a setup explained, or a comparison tested – let us know. These videos are built around real questions and real use cases.
